Born in 1983, Karachi Pakistan, Tanveer lives and works between Amsterdam and Lahore. In her works she creates moments of material engagements that transition between material and ephemeral, living and memorial. Channeling through questions of materiality, her works are subtle inquiries into the constructions of collective memory and remembrance. Working with photo, video, objects/ matter/ non-matter, her installations appear as simple juxtapositions, creating back and forth movement in the time spectrum.
